The aim of Quality Area 6 under the National Quality Standard is to recognise that collaborative relationships with families are fundamental to achieving quality outcomes for children and that community partnerships that are based on active communication, consultation and collaboration are also essential.
When families and services collaborate and build respectful relationships, children have the opportunity to develop a positive sense of self and experience respectful relationships. To practice this Forest FDC organised the Sports Carnival for all the families to participate to build intimate relationship and had valuable time.
